My Current Favorite Hair Routine : September 2009
It seems that there is a quite popular tag circulating Youtube right now about hair routines. Well, I decided to join the bandwagon and share with you some of my favorite hair products of the moment. My hair routine usually changes every few months because I try to rotate and try out new products often.
Shampoo : Shiseido Tsubaki Golden Repair Shampoo ($8.99)
The Shiseido Tsubaki hair care collection comes in 2 different lines that targets various kind of hair needs. The red line is for normal hair. The white (golden) line is for damaged hair. This is my second bottle already, and it is absolutely amazing. What I expecially love about this is the fact that it foams up so easily, taking less time when washing your hair and also cause less possible damages to the hair.

Conditioner : Joico K-Pak Reconstruct Daily Conditioner ($14.25)
This is also my second bottle, which just shows how much I love it. Joico is a professional salon hair care brand and can be purchased at most hair salons and beauty stores such as Ulta. I did noticed that this 2nd bottle is more liquidy than the previous one, but this does not affect the product. It also has a very nice floral scent but is not overwhelming.
Treatment : Shiseido Tsubaki Treatment with Camellia Oil EX ($11.99)
Another superstar from the Shiseido Tsubaki Collection. The treatment is very nutritious for the hair but is not over powering and do not weight down the hair. As many other treatments and hair masks, I use this once per week. I also do not use conditioner on the day when I use this.
Supplement : Skin Food Extra Virgin Olive Essence (5,500 won / about $5)
Skin Food is one of the biggest Korean cosmetic brands. Its products, ranging from makeups to skincare, is all made from natural ingredients, making it a very unique and popular Asian beauty brand. This hair essence can be used on cleaned hair both wet or dry. Spray some product onto your hands, rub it a bit to warm it up, and apply it all over the bottom section of the hair. It will keep your hair friz free and shinny all day long.
