Blogosphere Buzz : Sephora by OPI Modern Flowers Mini Collection

With my previous post on Suzi Says Feng Shui, which is my favorite OPI nail polish at the moment, I am in a very additive nail color stage. Thus, I took advantage of the just finished Sephora Beuaty Insiders sale and brought home the new Modern Flowers Collection ($9, 6 shades).

If you want to try out some of the new shades but don't want to fork out 9 bucks for each bottle, Sephora now offers a Modern Flower Mini Collection Set ($18) that allows you to experience 4 out of the 9 new colors at a much lowered price.

More about the product : SEPHORA by OPI's latest assortment of Nail Colours is inspired by simple, dramatic blossoms like the elegant Calla Lily, exotic orchid, and vibrant iris. These iconic flowers, in their most colorful forms, have been artistically re-imagined into this bouquet of spring shades that will have your fingertips flourishing with sophisticated color.

The decreased price obviously means that you are not getting a full size product. Here is a comparison between a regular size Sephora by OPI nail polish and a smaller bottle in the mini set. Out of the 4 colors in the set, I only really found an interest in 2 of them, and they are not really unique either. My favorite out of the set is Iris I was Thinner and Leaf Him at the Altar. I love the super cute names for each color, and these are beautiful shades for spring and summer. However, am I impressed by them? Not really. If you are interested, check out the mini collection before paying for the full size ones.

I like OPI polishes but they're always so expensive for Sephora. Boo!

I have to agree that OPI is overpriced. almost $10 for a little bottle of nail polish?!
