Etude House Eye Glow Pencil : Not Glamerous For Oily Eyelids
If you have ever visited an Etude House store, you'll notice that it is like a barbie house. The store is full of pink stuff, and all their sales girls wears cute little pink skirt. Etude House is one of the biggest Korean cosmetic brands. Unfortunately, I've had some really bad experiences while shopping in some of their stores in Korea. Plus, I've always thought that their products have cute packaging but not really effective. If you want to try some Korean brands, I would recommend Skin Food or The Face Shop.
I got this Eye Glow Pencil ($14) last year in Korea. It is an eye liner with subtle shimmer, but the shimmer is so subtle that when you actually wear it, you can't really tell that there is shimmer. It just looks like a regular black eyeliner. It is really creamy and goes on smoothly. I love the texture but unfornately, it is not something for my oily lids. It smudges like crazy. Even if I use a base and use an eyeshadow to set the liner, it still smudges right after I put it on. The only way I can actually use this is to use it as a base for a dramatic look, which kind of defeats the purpose of an eyeliner.

for me, i don't have high expectation to etude house eye makeup after I've tried the mascara. and off course, not all the range or product from etude house is good, but sometimes it depends different people skin condition as well. For me, their pore diet line certainly doesn't work much for me. but so far, the other product that I've tried and is using right now, aren't really that bad, results are all noticeable...
thanks for dropping by

The packaging sure sucks us in. But I agree that the quality needs some serious improvement.
