Dear Dejavu Creamed Nail Off, Thank You For Being So Nice To My Nose

I'm usually not a fan of strong scents from most nail polish removers, so I am always on a mission to find an alternative that is less harsh to my nose. Recently on SASA.com, I came across the Dejavu Creamed Nail Off ($8.40), which is a very intriguing product compares to traditional nail polish removers. Unfortunately, the product has been discontinued on both SASA and the Dejavu website. But I have been spotting this at my local Japanese grocery stores, so if you are interested, try your luck there.

Dejavu is famous for its Imju Fiberwig Mascara ($24), which claims to be the #1 selling mascara in Japan.

More about the brand : Imju is one of the leading cosmetic brands in Japan, belonging to Pias Group.  Imju always creates the products with innovation and differentiation.
What I especially love about this nail polish remover is that it has no noticeable scent, which is much preferable to me than other regular liquid removers. The process of using this product is a bit longer because you have to wait a few minutes for the removing cream to work. However, the result is definitely worth the wait. Remember to always use a hand cream afterward because the remover does makes the nails quite dry and flaky. Now, let me demonstrate how the cream works.

  1. Please forgive my nasty looking nails. As you can see, I need to get rid of the cracked nail colors.
  2. Squeeze a moderate amount of the cream remover on each nails. Spread it out to cover the entire area. Wait for a 2-3 minutes and wipe off the excess cream.
  3. You got your clean nails back. The whole process is very easy, and there is absolutely no rubbing involved.

Great review! I've never seen such a product before. It's a shame it takes so long and is drying. :(

P.S Look forward to your beauty list tag!
